The theme for today is a restaurant I want to try, this theme kind of connects to yesterday’s theme. It has always been my dream to go to New York and try all the amazing restaurant there have to offer. One of those is Butter, Alex Guarnaschelli’s restaurant. Since I have always wanted to try it I thought I would take a look at the menu and decide exactly what I would want to try.
Drink: “Beet it or not” plymouth gin, muddled basil, house made ginger syrup, fresh lemon & a shot of beet juice
Appetizer: “Gnocchi Mac & Cheese” melted petit Basque, aged Cheddar
Salad: “Raw & Roasted Brussels Sprouts Salad” Sour David apple, black radish, smoked pecan dressing
Entree: “Butter’s Pan-Roasted Chicken Breast” Country Line Harvest broccoli rabe, red pepper flakes
Dessert: “Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup” peanut brittle, cocoa nibs
